Deosai National Park Location
Deosai National Park is located in northern Pakistan, primarily within the Skardu District of Gilgit-Baltistan. It lies on the Deosai Plains, a vast, high-altitude plateau, often called the "Land of Giants." The park sits at an average elevation of about 4,114 meters (13,497 feet) above sea level, making it one of the highest plateaus in the world. It covers an area of approximately 3,000 square kilometers and is bordered by the Karakoram Range to the north and the western Himalayas to the south.
