The Burzil Pass, located at an elevation of around 4,100 meters (13,500 feet), is the primary route to reach Minimarg. The pass remains covered in snow for much of the year and is only open during the summer months, making access to Minimarg limited to this period. The region around Minimarg is home to diverse wildlife, including the Himalayan brown bear, snow leopard, and a variety of bird species.
